Memory Load on SQL Server running NPM

We recently upgraded Network Performance Monitory from version 10.6 to 11.0. Before the upgrade, our SQL Server was running on 4 GB memory with a memory load of 79% to 80%.
We bumped the memory up to 8 GB and proceeded to upgrade to version 11.0. After the upgrade completed, the memory load has increased and is now consistently at 88% to 90%.  Is this considered normal or high?  The only other database running on this SQL Server is AuditWizard, which keeps an inventory of our client's hardware and installed software and it does not put a significant load on memory resources.

Our Polling Intervals are set to the default of 120 seconds.  We have 9 Alerts that are enabled in Advanced Alert Manager.  2 are set to "Check this Alert every 2 minutes" and the rest are set to "Check this Alert every 1 minute".

Also, we are receiving an Event Log warning stating "Indexes with fragmentation over 90% found during DB maintenance".  Could this be contributing to the high memory load?  Please note that we are running SQL Server 2005 and my experience with SQL Server is limited.

Any advice on the memory load and Event Log message would be appreciated.
